ITE Inclusion Portal
ITE has a new Inclusion Portal to encourage members to share their feedback any time they have an idea, concern, or observation that can enhance ITE’s inclusiveness. Your feedback can relate to any level of the organization – International, District, Section, or Chapter.
All feedback will be confidential unless individuals wish to identify themselves and be contacted. You should expect to be contacted within 2-3 days and all issues will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
You can find the link here: http://www.ite.org/InclusionPortal
LeadershipITE
LeadershipITE is a program designed by ITE to grow and empower leaders within the transportation industry so that they are well prepared for greater roles within their professional capacity, ITE, and other associations. Since 2014, LeadershipITE has been identifying, developing and engaging leaders to ensure that ITE and its members are positioned to participate and shape the future of transportation.
Target participants will represent the diversity of our community in age, gender, ethnicity and discipline. Through this program, participants will explore current issues in transportation; develop and hone leadership competencies; and build the professional network required to excel as leaders in ITE, in their places of employment and communities.
To be eligible to participate in LeadershipITE the applicant must:
- Be an active Member or Fellow in good standing with ITE.
- Be able to demonstrate contributions to ITE through volunteer activities.
- Be willing to work with their employer, District and Section for financial support of the registration fee.
The application process for the 2023 LeadershipITE Class is due September 15, 2022 with funding due by November 15, 2022.
